Overview

Cadence ("we", "our", "the app") is a bike maintenance tracking app. We take your privacy seriously and collect only what's needed to provide the service.

What We Collect

Account info: Email address and password (for authentication)
Bike data: Bike specs, component details, and mileage you enter
Strava data: If you connect Strava, we access your athlete profile and gear mileage (read-only)
Photos: If you upload a bike photo, it is stored in our cloud storage

How We Use Your Data

Track component wear and send maintenance reminders
Sync mileage from Strava to your bikes
Display your bike photos within the app

What We Don't Do

We do not sell your data to third parties
We do not use your data for advertising
We do not share your Strava data with anyone
We do not track your location

Third-Party Services

Supabase: Database and authentication (hosted in the US)
Strava: Optional integration for mileage sync
Apple: Push notifications via APNs

Data Retention

Your data is kept as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app.
